Ozone disinfection: 

Ozone is composed of three oxygen atoms. It is an allotrope of oxygen. The molecular formula is O3 and the molecular weight is 48. Under normal temperature and pressure, O3 is a light blue gas with a special fishy smell and a moderate concentration. At room temperature, ozone has a "fresh" odor. At room temperature, ozone is unstable and can be decomposed into O2 and monoatomic O by itself. Two monooxygen atoms O can be combined into O2. The monooxygen atoms are extremely active and have strong oxidizing properties. Decomposition function, can quickly disinfect, sterilize and oxidize organic and inorganic matters. Its oxidizing capacity is twice as high as that of chlorine, the reaction is fast, and the sterilization speed is 600-3000 times faster than that of chlorine, and it can kill bacteria and viruses within a few seconds. Ozone has a strong decomposing ability, which can quickly and powerfully kill various bacteria, pathogenic microorganisms, virus fungi and protozoa in the water, air and on the side surface. Ozone treatment has the advantages of fast reaction speed, high efficiency, no residue, and no secondary pollution. 


Ozone sterilization is mainly based on the strong oxidizing ability of monoatomic oxygen (O) hydroxyl (OH) produced after decomposition or dissolution in water. Ozone first reacts with the lipid double bonds of cell walls and cell membranes. Enter the cell through the cell wall and cell membrane. Acting on the outer shell lipoprotein and the inner fat content of the confectionery meat changes the permeability of the inner cell membrane, causing the inner cell membrane to leak out, and finally leading to cell lysis and death. Ozone is a strong oxidant, which belongs to the peroxide disinfectant in disinfection, and has a broad-spectrum and high-efficiency sterilization effect. Ozone has a strong killing effect on air microorganisms. Ozone with a concentration lower than the allowable concentration (0.2mg/m) has a good bactericidal effect on general bacterial propagules. It has been reported that ozone has been used to disinfect the air in the ward with satisfactory results, using 30mg Ozone at a concentration of /m, acting for 15 minutes, can kill natural bacteria above 92%. For Staphylococcus aureus in aerosol, use 0.12mg/m of ozone for 30 minutes to kill Above 99.9%, use 5.67mg/m ozone on the spores of Bacillus subtilis black variant in aerosol for 60 minutes, and the killing rate can reach more than 99%. The method of ozone against bacteria is to directly oxidize the cell body of the bacteria, that is, to destroy the genes of their DNA to achieve the inhibitory effect.
