Ozone calculation formula

The calculation formula for ozone mainly includes the following aspects:

1. Ozone production calculation: Based on the output of the ozone generator and the actual flow rate of the gas, the ozone production can be calculated. The calculation formula is: DO3 = CO3 × QN, where DO3 is ozone production, CO3 is ozone concentration, and QN is the actual flow rate of gas under standard conditions.

2. Air flow conversion: When calculating ozone production, the air flow needs to be converted into the flow rate under standard conditions. The conversion formula is: QN = V × P / (R × T), where V is the air volume, P is the air pressure, R is the gas constant, and T is the air temperature.

3. Calculation of ozone half-life: In a closed space with a volume of V cubic meters, use an ozone generator to generate ozone, and set the ozone output to Q grams/hour. Then the space ozone concentration at any time T is: C = ( Q × T) / (V × T), where C is the spatial ozone concentration.

4. Calculation of ozone dosage: In water treatment, the ozone dosage can be calculated based on the required ozone concentration and water flow rate. The calculation formula is: Q = C × V, where Q is the ozone dosage, C is the ozone concentration, and V is the water flow rate.

The impact of ozone on the unit is mainly reflected in disinfection and sterilization. In the fields of water treatment, air purification and surface disinfection, ozone has efficient sterilization capabilities. In water treatment, the dosage of ozone needs to be calculated based on the water flow rate, the ozone concentration to be achieved, and the output of the ozone generator. In air purification and object surface disinfection, the concentration and action time of ozone will affect the disinfection effect. Therefore, in practical applications, it is necessary to select an appropriate ozone generator and calculation formula according to specific needs to achieve the best disinfection effect.

The conversion relationship between the unit concentration of ozone content in ppm, mg/h, etc. is as follows:

1. ppm (parts per million) means one part per million and is a unit of volume concentration. 1ppm means that there is 1 volume of ozone in 1 million volumes of air. Under standard conditions (273K, 101.3kPa), the ozone concentration of 1ppm is equal to 2.14mg/m3.

2. mg/h (milligrams per hour) means milligrams per hour and is a mass flow unit. It represents the mass of ozone emitted or produced per hour.

Conversion relationship:

1. 1ppm = 2.14mg/m3 (under standard conditions)

2. 1mg/h = 1ppm × 2.14 × 10^3 mg/m3

Therefore, 1mg/h = 1ppm × 2.14 × 10^3 / 1 = 2.14 × 10^3 ppm

Therefore, an ozone concentration of 1mg/h is equal to an ozone concentration of 2.14 × 10^3 ppm. It should be noted that this conversion relationship only holds true under standard conditions, and needs to be corrected according to actual conditions in actual applications.
